Hedgerow Gin Rhubarb Bottling Note

The folks from Sloemotion have gives their Hedgerow Gin a local twist by bringing rhubarb and raspberry into the mix. This original recipe for Hedgerow Gin features crab apple, sloe stone, elderflower, nettle, wildflower meadow hay and rosehip, with the addition of rhubarb stemming from Yorkshire's long history of farming the tasty treat. Ought to be a great summer tipple when mixed with elderflower tonic.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Layers of leafy herbs and peppery juniper, tempered by fruit sweetness - think tangy red berries and green apple sharpness.

Reviews for Sloemotion Hedgerow Gin - Rhubarb & Raspberry
Delicate and well balanced
Subtle hints of rhubarb against a well balanced gin, not sweet as no sugar. Delicious!

Amazingly Fresh, Herbaceous & Floral
Really subtle Rhubarb flavors with a hint of sweetness from the Raspberry. I love this gin! Would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys a fruitful gin without that candied sweetness. Amazing with elderflower tonic. Perfect spring/summer tipple!

Delicious
Delicious. The rhubarb and raspberry is there but not sweet, juniper is still noticeable. Try it with elderflower tonic!

Wonderful
It’s absolutely delicious if served with the correct garnishes.

Rather Delightful
Unlike previous reviews I had no problem distinguishing the rhubarb and raspberry and found that the slight sweetness makes this a really good hot early afternoon gin that you might find you carry on with well into the evening!

Not Great
Was expecting so much but I'm sad to say we're thuroghly disappointed. This may as well be a normal London dry and sadly the elements of rhubarb and raspberry promised are almost entirely missing. Unfortunate.
