Skellig Six18 Irish Gin

Craft gin from the Skellig coast in County Kerry, down in the south west of Ireland. This gin takes its name from the 618 ancient stone steps built by monks on Skellig Michael (otherwise known as Luke Skywalker's island in Star Wars). The team use Douglas fir, birch, yarrow and foraged dillisk as botanicals, and it's been said to pair brilliantly with all sorts of food and dishes by no lesser authority than Michelin starred chef Ross Lewis. Garnish your Skellig G&T with a slice of pink grapefuit.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Herbal anise and juniper, sweet sap and citrus, a bittersweet finish with pleasing minerality.

Reviews for Skellig Six18 Irish Gin
A great Fresh Irish Gin
This is a cracking gin with a clean fresh citrus style. Smooth with the botanicals clearly shining through and not being overpowered by the alcohol. I drink it with a Fever Tree light tonic and it pairs well - works well with food too not just as a stand alone G&T. Highly recommended. If you like Cotswold Gin and that style you should enjoy this one.

Great complexity - reflects coastal influence
Bright and airy without lacking complexity, slate minerality, tart citric finish to cleanse the palate. Alcohol does not obscure the botanicals.
