Seven Three Distilling Gentilly Gin
A gin from the wonderful Seven Three Distilling in New Orleans! It's dubbed Gentilly Gin, named after the group of neighbourhoods in the city. Its 17 botanical list was inspired by old faith healers known as a traiteur, with botanicals such as elderflower and persimmon that you may have found in a Cajun medicine bag. If you're feeling fancy, definitely give this a go in a Gimlet.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Elderflower wafts and subtle anise, wrapped up in waves of vanilla.
Palate
Honeyed persimmon, stem ginger, crisp juniper and another touch of anise.
Finish
Warm peppery notes and juniper remain for a softly spicy finish.
