Lola & Vera Apple Gin
From the Santamanía distilery in Spain comes an interesting gin named after their stills, Lola & Vera. This was made by macerating apples in the spirit before filtering them out and distilling the spirit with the rest of the botanicals, including lemon, orange, ginger, cardamom, anise, sunflower, liquoirce, cassia and (of course) juniper. Awesome pop art-inspired label, too.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Earthy though crisp juniper, with juicy fruit cutting through cleanly. A subtle prickle of spice develops on the mid-palate.
