A special edition London dry from Salcombe Gin, named after the four seas that surround the British Isles, and released to support the RNLI. Celebrating the nation's coastal communities, this gin was distilled with lemon peels smoked over Scotch whisky barrel wood chips, Cornish sea buckthorn, sugar kelp from the Irish sea, and Welsh elderberries. It boasts an impressive balance of elegant zest, delicate sweetness, soft spice, and distant whispers of coastal salinity that will shine in a classic G&T with a slice of lemon.
The folks at Salcombe Gin have advised us that they're donating 10% of net sales of every bottle to the RNLI to ensure that every bottle helps save lives at sea.
An anchor of juniper tethers waves of tangy citrus peel and hints of floral blossom, with a soft touch of spice and just a hint of sea spray in the depths.
Love this gin, you can really taste the coast. It is like a walk on the beach with an amazing slightly salty coastal breeze. Lots of lemon and a hint of smoke which I understand is acheived by smoking lemons over whisky barrel wood chips. Impressive stuff and I love that each bottle gives back to the RNLI.
