Poppies Gin comes to us via Belgium's family-owned Rubbens distillery, which has been producing jenever since the early 1800s! The legend behind this expression is that the recipe was created by an English solider who took part in the First World War, hence the name.
Juniper forward and richly herbaceous, with a kick of sweet liquorice at the core.

I first tried this Gin in Hogarths and I really loved the after taste of the Liquorice. This is a must have Gin and I love the story behind it.
Love this Gin. Bought on a last minute purchase buy when recently in Ypres. Definately a tasty drop. Beautiful licorice warm taste and easy to drink. Will have to savor every drop as live in Australia I can't get it here!
Smooth warming gin with hints of black pepper and liquorice
Always yearned to try this and eventually got a bottle recently. Wow! Fantastic and the sweet licqourice taste is undoutbtedly the best feature. Safely say it is now my favourite gin.
