Puerto de Indias Black Edition is made with citrus, jasmine and vanilla for creating more floral G&Ts. This edition is bottled at the slightly higher ABV of 40% (their classic edition is bottled at 37.5% ABV).

The first impression was a shock. Is this a gin? Where are the botanicals normally associated with gin? I can taste the vanilla someone mentioned, and I guess that review should have hinted I'm just not the target audience. I can also taste leather. The flavours aren't strictly unpleasant, they just don't belong to a gin. IMHO.
