The second release from the Pothecary Gin folks in Dorset, Sicilian Blend is made with Sicilian lemon, Sicilian orange and Sicilian almond, along with Serbian juniper and wild-foraged gentian root, with the blending method used for intensity of flavour – and it's certified Organic by The Soil Association. It also features the Sicilian Coat of Arms on the label (which looks a little bit like the Isle of Man Coat of Arms).
Refined juniper and subtle nuttiness from the almond - almost a little bit toasted at points. Refreshing citrus peel gives it a balancing sweetness.

I tried this gin in a local bar expecting great things. It had a strange taste that I couldn’t put my finger on, then it hit me. I once built yachts for a living and the smell of anti-foul that they paint the bottom of the boats with is exactly what this gin tastes like. Some might like it but not for me.
