One of three gins released for Poetic License's fifth anniversary, and honouring the distillery's late founder Mark Hird, this particular expression was made using an Old Tom gin which was allowed to age in a Moscatel sherry cask for 10 months. With a big, bold flavour profile, this one certainly stands up to being served neat or over ice.
Chocolate at first, before peppery warmth builds underneath, alongside some plump dried fruit sweetness.
