Dandelion & Burdock Gin Bottling Note

When St. Thomas Aquinas first discovered the combination of dandelion and burdock back in 1265, we wonder if he knew it would still be as popular over seven centuries later! The folks over at Pocketful of Stones Distillery in Penzance are certainly avid fans, as they distilled this Dandelion & Burdock Gin! Among other botanicals, North Country dandelion bloom and wild foraged burdock take centre stage for a bittersweet, earthy expression. Should make an interesting twist on a Martini.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Grassy juniper supported by slightly sweet, earthy tones, and a pleasingly bitter, somewhat medicinal finish.

Disappointed
Tastes nothing like dandelion and burdock just a dry gin. Really disappointed as loved the idea of the flavour especially for the price

Not D and B

simply amazing gin!
Amazing gin! Great with different mixers, with a standard tonic, or if you mix it with coca cola it tastes just like dandelion and burdock (=the lemonade) and like childhood in the north. Hats off to the guys at Pocketful of stones, can't wait to see what else they have in store!

It’s not D&B I’m afraid
Brought this as I loved the idea of dandelion and burdock. It tastes like any normal dry gin. Pity as the idea is great

My favourite soft drink, now my favourite gin!!
I just love this, I was drinking it with tonic, which I loved! Then contacted the distillery who weirdly suggested trying cola!! Tried it, loved it, and already have another on the way!!
