The folks at the PitWheel Distillery in Durham introduced the deliciousness of raspberry and vanilla to their PitWheel Classic Dry Gin to make this marvellous expression! The duo impart sweet, creamy notes to the spirit, perfect for enjoying in cocktails and mixed drinks alike.
Juicy raspberry with a hint of tanginess to it, developing into floral fragrance and peppery juniper.
What a lovely hidden gem! I hadn’t heard of Pitwheel before but being the granddaughter of a miner I was very interested to learn about this brand and intrigued to give this gin a go - and it certainly did not disappoint. Bold and fruity from opening the bottle. Not overly sweet like some can be. I’ll definitely be looking at the rest of the range but this is a new MUST on my gin shelf.
