This luxurious looking spirit is Piston Coffee Gin, which takes Piston Dry Gin and then infuses it with cold brewed Ethiopian coffee and dark muscovado sugar. It's full of flavour, with expertly balanced somewhat bitter coffee and rich sugar. Serve over ice or add a kick of caffeine to your cocktails.
Strong, fresh espresso, with notes of roasted coffee beans, rich dark sugar balanced by a hint of pine and citrus, with a touch of spice on the finish.
I admit I bought locally, however I was pleasantly surprised by the unique blend of this gin, it is also very tasty with a mixer of 50/50 prune juice and tonic water, served with plenty of ice it is really tasty.
