Pinkster, 'the Agreeably British Gin', is brought to us by the rather affable Colonel Pinkster! This larger than life fellow is more than happy to take a few moments out of his life of leisure to extoll the virtues of his fair libation!
First launched in July 2013, 5 botanicals are used to create this premium gin. Pinkster is the brainchild of Stephen Marsh, and is now distilled to the company's own recipe by G&J before being hand-steeped in the raspberries that lend it both its pink hue and subtle fruitiness.
Nose: Orange peels and angelica, with a subtle whiff of tart raspberries coming through.
Palate: Rounded fruit. A drying touch of pepper. Vanilla bean and coriander.
Finish: Zesty raspberries and a grassy hint of water mint.

Discovered this recently at a gin festival and was quickly converted. Subtle, smooth with just the right amount of raspberry. Makes a very tasty G&T (or two). Thumbs up.

The raspberry comes across as soapy to my taste, and the whole thing seems like something I should be putting on a cotton ball to dab on my skin rather than something I should be drinking. Trying a little too hard to be girly, and in my opinion, missing.

Very nice subtle nuance of fruit on a clean refreshing palate. As fresh as the green bottle but with a new feminine twist, an excellent gin.

So smooth, with a delicious, sophisticated after-taste. Currently my favourite summer gin. Will be buying more.

I first tasted pinkster at the best of Britania exhibition in Preston and was so taken I brought three bottles at the London show. Best gin on market by a country mile - Bravo!

Love this stuff. Great in the summer. A touch of fruit and v smooth. Love their line about spanking the mint for a G&T.

Initially discovered this at a Foodies Festival and am now mildly hooked. They recommend serving with fresh mint instead of lemon or lime - trust me, it makes a real difference.

If you're not a fan of the big dry gins, then this will hit the spot. The juniper's there but it's not dominant. Mighty refreshing.....will be stocking up for the summer. Thanks.

Wasn't sure what to expect but pleasantly surprised. Smooth finish. Even the mother-in-law who's not a gin fan was back for seconds.
