Produced in Northumberland, Alnwick Gin showcases 11 botanicals, some of them locally foraged, with rosehip, rosemary and lavender among them. It's produced in small batches of just 100 litres, presented in a rather eye-catching stoneware bottle complete with pewter label.
Fragrant cardamom leads into floral lavender and rose, with notes of anise and savoury rosemary on a peppery, subtly smoky finish.

I think this gin must be a marmite! I absolutely love it but see that some people really don’t like it, so it depends on your taste
Incredibly disappointed with this gin; the bottle is beautiful, but the product not so. It’s incredibly bitter & resembles antiseptic. I’m a member of a gin club so familiar with lesser known, unique gins, with unusual flavours, and have never been disappointed, but this went down the sink…

If you want something spicy and full of cardamom, this is for you. If you like a juniper led gin, with no other overpowering flavours- leave it alone!
