From the Northumberland Gin Co. comes the Hexham Premier Cru Gin, which shares its name with the lovely market town of Hexham, which is in Northumberland! Coincidence? Perhaps, perhaps. A fine, small batch choice for G&Ts.
I had, what I now believe to be the best gin martini ever when I had this gin with Noilly Prat vermouth at my local bar. There are a few of us gin lovers in there and we are all converts to this, our local gin. Great stuff guys!
I can be a bit careful over gin, the overwhelming juniper smell of some gins puts me right off. I was convinced by a friend to try this mixed with cloudy lemonade and with some thyme scrunched up in the glass. It was called "Fog on the Thyme" geddit? I certainly did as this was absolutely brilliant! So smooth and soft, citrusy with a hint of juniper I knew it was the gin I had been waiting for. Please try this gin, you won't regret it.
