Ninth Wave Irish Gin

If you're not familiar with Irish mythology, the Ninth Wave is a giant wave that separates Earth from the 'Otherworld', a kind of invisible utopia off the Irish coast. So, the Hinch Distillery decided to name a gin after it with its Ninth Wave Gin! With nine botanicals, including lemon verbena, cardamom and orange peel, the gin is a tasty balance of aromatic spice and citrus, presented in a suitable wavy bottle.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Fragrant lemon curd, woody cinnamon and peppery juniper, with waxy citrus and a wave of cardamom on the finish.

I did want to like this gin. But alas
Too strong on the cardamon(?) I’m afraid. Needs a better balance to give more edge to the taste. I couldn’t drink two in succession, even with a suitable interval. Sorry!
