Superbly bright, effortlessly cool and very popular with cocktail lovers. We're of course talking about Dorothy Parker, the legendary writer, poet and satirist, as well as talking about the New York Distilling Company's Dorothy Parker Gin! A spectacular American gin, made with traditional and contemporary botanicals including juniper, elderberries, citrus, cinnamon, and hibiscus petals. Simply marvellous in G&Ts, Martinis, Aviations and all manner of gin-based cocktails...
Sweet floral notes are balanced with muscular juniper. Elderberry, citrus and cinnamon are all also evident on a glorious nose.
Again those hibiscus petals appear prominent, but not at the expense of juniper. This is still very much a proper gin. Cinnamon spiciness develops wonderfully.
You're left with sweet floral notes, juniper and returning elderberry and citrus that linger pleasantly for some time.
Each botanical plays its part in this marvellous, and suitably original gin. A triumph from the New York Distilling Company.

Discovered this on a recent trip to Brooklyn where it’s distilled along with its Navy Strength compatriot. The standard strength has a lovely smooth taste and good juniper notes. You can definitely get the elderberry taste and I’d say it sits on the more citrus side which is a gin style I really love. Great with a light tonic but I’ve also tried it in a gin based margarita and it was delicious there too - highly recommended
Very smooth, very easy-going - a very much juniper-forward 'classic' gin. Ideal in cocktails I'd guess.
