A tremendous barrel aged gin from New Riff in Kentucky, this expression has been rested in New Riff Bourbon barrels for five to seven months! A selection of botanicals locally foraged from the surrounding Ohio Valley includes juniper berries, American spicebush, and goldenrod, which is Kentucky's state flower. Skillfully balanced with traditional botanicals and enhanced by a splash of New Riff's new make rye spirit, this is a glorious sipper neat and will make some exceptional cocktails, we reckon.
Soft vanilla and gentle oak tannins dance amongst liquorice and earthy angelica spice, zesty orange peel brightens up the finish with a gentle, woody dryness.
