A variation of Nelson's Gin recipe, incorporating rhubarb into their mix of botanicals (which includes Madagascan vanilla, cinnamon from Sri Lanka and lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves from Thailand).
Sharp, sweet rhubarb stands out, with the mellow vanilla balancing out the tart fruit notes. Citrus peels and Christmas-y spice in the background.
Sensational tart rhubarb followed by creamy velvety 'custard.... beautiful! One of my top 10's. Always have a bottle in the house. I find an ordinary tonic is best to being a little sweetness to the mix. Enjoy!!!
