“This is a fantastic gin. The flavour is clearly gin, tried this with Walter Gregor Tonic or Franklins, slices of lime or red apple - very moorish, London dry gin. Really easy drinking, not overly floral nor too citrusy. The genuine story behind this brand & Gin just adds more depth, is a genuine Small Batch. Look forward to receiving more from this company ”

Avva Scottish Gin

Launched in late 2016 by the Elgin-based Moray Distillery (founded by Jill Brown, who previously founded the Berry Good range of liqueurs), Avva Scottish Gin is made using a combination of classic gin botanicals as well as botanicals foraged in Speyside and the Highlands. These include dandelion, mint, red clover, nettle and Rowan berries.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Orange and lime peels arrive first on the nose, but are quickly backed up by refreshing, vegetal herbs. A crackle of peppery juniper lasts throughout.
