Wolf's Nose Gin

Wolf's Nose Gin comes from Moonshine Kid aka Matt Whiley, who was one of the founders of Fluid Movement, the company behind top London bars PURL and Worship Street Whistling Shop. The botanicals used include juniper, coriander seed, angelica and orris root as well as chinook and columbus hops!

"Great things are not accomplished by those who yield to trends and fads and popular opinion... The Moonshine Kid stands for optimism, originality and bucking the curb."

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Fairly light with coriander, a hint of hops and some minerality. Approachable, lemon straight from the fridge, juniper, borage and perhaps a little spicy onion bhaji (that's a good thing).

Palate Ooh, now we're in, fizzy, creamy, hoppy, fresh mixed peels, lovely mouth feel. Quite sweet.

Finish Great minerality once again, quite drying.

Overall A great gin. The flavour profile, as well as the sweetness and dryness also make this a fantastic cocktail ingredient.

Reviews for Moonshine Kid Wolf's Nose Gin
Juuuust right
The balance of hop here is absolutely perfect - it's certainly discernible if you know it's there, but it's well-enough integrated that it feels like a botanical as opposed to an overriding smack in the face.
