Chocolate Orange Gin! Bottled by That Boutique-y Gin Company, those creative McQueen folk (no strangers to unique and characterful spirits) used roast cacao nibs and bitter orange peels during distillation to produce this tasty treat. If you study the hand-illustrated label carefully you might find some superficial damage to the boxes of the orange peel-wrapped cacao bean 'chocolate oranges' pictured, except on the one that's reserved for Jill, that is.
Batch 1 is a release of 665 bottles.
Refreshing bundles of citrus peels arrive first. Unmistakable chocolatey elements develop in the glass.
Soft, drying juniper gives it a peppery core, surrounded by cacao and floral mandarin.
Chocolate digestives, orange oil fruitiness and a herbaceous juniper-y whisper lingers.
Bizarrely brilliant stuff.
