Cask Aged Gin 8 Year Old (Master of Malt)
Next-level Negronis await with this bourbon barrel-aged gin! Aged gin is a brilliant yet underrated thing. The results are intriguing, exciting, and delicious all at once, so we see it as our duty to deliver one for all you diligent spirits aficionados once in a while. This batch was distilled in 2018 and spent eight years in cask, yielding 281 bottles in 2026. A sweet, spicy surprise!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Herbaceous botanicals and resinous juniper leap from the glass. Rosemary and bitter citrus peels open the way for delicately sweet peppermint creams and vanilla.
Palate
A medley of tingling spice, oily juniper, and buttery oak. Sweet mint candies, vibrant green herbs, and bitter orange peels and pith, dialled up with elegant oaken depth.
Finish
Woody spices, rosemary-infused honey, a smidge of dark chocolate orange, and fragrant peppercorn warmth.
