We're big fans of barrel-aged spirits, and don't see why gin doesn't get treated to a luxury cask stay more often. The medley of botanicals, oak, and the cask's former contents come together to form something rather exciting indeed. In this case, we have a gin distilled in 2017 and matured in teeny little oloroso sherry octaves until it was bottled in 2025. Seven years in cask have concentrated the spirit's layers of oily, piney juniper and bitter citrus, bringing rich notes of sultanas, chocolate, and woody spice. A release of 165 bottles, with no added colour or chill filtration.

Rich oak and oily juniper open the way, with fragrant notes of citrus oil and dried orange peels, bergamot, and a touch of earthy tea. Sultanas, marmalade and a touch of toffee develop in time, with rootsy botanical depth.
Intense and zesty to begin, with dried citrus and pithy peels before notes of floral Turkish Delight and hints of dried raspberry join. Juniper rests comfortably at the core, with piney, resinous spice.
Hints of clove, cardamom, lemongrass, and oaken vanilla, with whispers of chocolate raisins, and more bitter orange.
