Cask Aged Gin 4 Year Old 2017 (Master of Malt) (42.6%)
Our Cask Aged Gin always goes down a storm, so we've bottled up another batch for you to get stuck into. This gin was aged in a bourbon barrel for four years between 2017 and 2022, resulting in layers of floral vanilla, peppery spice, and mellow oak to accompany the resinous juniper at its core. It's a superbly versatile spirit – enjoy it neat, try it with a splash of tonic and a wedge of grapefruit, or take your Negronis to the next level! Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Bold, resinous pine leads the way, with barky spice, softly toasted oak, and oily juniper. Waves of lemon juice and grapefruit peels bring plenty of zest alongside herbaceous lemongrass and orange butter.
Palate
Elegant, soft layers of buttery oak, creamy lemon posset, and vanilla custard are joined by earthy juniper, a touch of toasted rosemary, and woody spice.
Finish
Resinous, piney juniper, and cracked peppercorns linger alongside floral vanilla pods, orange blossom, clove, and anise.
