Italian liqueur legends Luxardo created this Sour Cherry Gin by infusing its famed Marasca cherry juice with its London Dry Gin distillate to create a fabulously flavoured gin that works in a number of classic cocktails.

Nose
Warming cinnamon, luxurious maraschino cherry, touches of anise and a smattering of bitter herbs.
Palate
A slight, but pleasant bitterness brings depth to plenty of sweetness from jammy fruit and sugared almonds. The sour note from the cherries is well balanced.
Finish
Drying spice percolates through a lingering cherry liqueur element.
Overall
An interesting take on flavoured gin. Touches of sour, bitter and herbal elements tame the red berry sweetness. Should be a real favourite of bartenders.
