Warehouses are generally pretty good for storing things, though sometimes they're so good at storing them that the things can be forgotten about. The Lost Parcels range is about making sure some little portions of excellent spirits don't drift into the mysterious ether to never be seen from again. For example, this right here is a fabulous gin that has been aged in Oloroso casks for three years! That's quite a long ol' time for gin to mature, so we're excited to see how its flavour profile has developed...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Pomander balls, vanilla, sultana, and a hint of cola cube.
Palate
Resinous juniper builds on the palate, surrounded by dates, brown sugar, and ginger in syrup notes.
Finish
Aromatic cinnamon and cardamom, with woody juniper hints lasting.
Overall
Sherried boldness abound, with familiar gin notes never too far away.
