BVI Gin

In September 2017, Hurricane Irma hit the British Virgin Islands. The 200mph winds left devastation in their wake. The Little Bay Distilling Company was established on the island of Tortola with a desire to make a positive impact in response.

BVI Gin is the result. Distilled in small batches, it is crafted in a traditional bespoke copper column still with locally inspired botanicals including hibiscus flower, angelica root and grains of paradise, before it is bottled and labelled by hand.

Bright and tart juniper is at the forefront, with cassia, grapefruit, and liquorice in support.

An excellent gin with good notes.
We discovered this gin while on our honeymoon to BVI. An excellent gin, with great flavors and aromas. Bought some to bring home because, unfortunately we can’t buy it in the US. Can’t wait until we can!

Very rich and bitter
Slightly more down to earth review from someone who has not lived/visited the area and just interested in the gin itself. Although not a bad gin by definition, it comes across quite rich and heady whilst being a bit to bitter in it's initial taste, it does mix well with grapefruit and settles a little after a few sips but, there are easily cleaner/better gins at 42% that don't feel to rich and strong like this does. Was expecting more.

Outstanding!!!
Probably the best Gin I have ever had! Not a huge fan of grapefruit, but the way they infuse grapefruit, this Gin with Tonic and just the rind of the grapefruit is flavorful and refreshing. My only regret is I only bought 2 bottles while visiting the British Virgin Islands! 😎

Delicious gin and an awesome gift for anyone who has ever visited (or wants to visit) the BVI. The bottle is beautiful too, and makes a great keepsake when the delicious gin has gone!

Excellent gin!
We first tried this in Tortola (a beautiful place if you ever get the opportunity to go) and loved it. The bottle we brought home didn't last long so we were really happy that Mastern of malt started stocking it! Garnish with grapefruit peel and enjoy!
