J.J. Whitley Nettle Gin

A massively herbaceous gin from the J.J. Whitley range - nettle isn't often a flavour seen in gins, so we're rather intrigued by this one...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Chopped basil, oily juniper, crushed coriander, forest floor and a subtle spark of citrus peels.

Flipping amazing.
My favourite gin, bar none, including expensive ones. Ridiculously good value and absolutely delicious.

Gorgeous!
Delightful gin. Light and refreshing. Serve with tonic, ice, lemon wheel and a sprig of basil or mint. Just lovely.
Be on the floor before you know it...

A Soothing Tonic
An excellent, deceptively more-ish distillation. Don’t be put off by the main botanical, be prepared to be very pleasantly surprised! Truly a wonderful tonic👍

Nice.
The whole gin revolution has mostly passed me by. I do like a G&T but the complexities of different Gins goes over my head. I bought this on a whim ( because I was planning to tackle “that corner” of the garden ). Pleasantly surprised. I’d buy it again. Maybe there’s something in this fashion....

An absolute bargain
A really good gin. Much better than a host of other gins that cost twice the price. In a GT it makes a delightful change from traditional London Dry gin.

Different, but great. Fantastic herby gin!
I got a sample of this with my monthly gin club. The notes said it might divide opinion but I can't see why. It's a great gin with a herby kick and makes a fantastic G & T. I garnish with lime and even a herb or two - rosemary or thyme. I think this would be great in Martinis too.
