A gin with a sense of place, being made with Isle of Wight rock samphire and Boadicea hops alongside juniper, coriander seeds, fresh lemon zest, grains of paradise, angelica, liquorice, orris and elderflower.
Earthy sweetness and some citrus zing with a touch of sea air and warming pepper.
My husband was given a bottle of this for his birthday this month and loved it .I personally don't like gin but loved the amazing aroma when I made him his gin and tonic!

Mermaid Gin was recommended by someone I trust with such recommendations. The instant I poured, the juniper nose popped. This is smooth and able-bodied. My only regret is it is difficult to find and I only purchased one bottle - and it's gone. I must replenish. I can't see how any gin aficionado wouldn't say the same, but to each his own.
Don't judge a gin by it's cover. Liquid is ok but way over priced to pay for the fancy bottle.
My absolute favourite. Crisp, refreshing and distinctive. Delicious.
