A gin with a sense of place, being made with Isle of Wight rock samphire and Boadicea hops alongside juniper, coriander seeds, fresh lemon zest, grains of paradise, angelica, liquorice, orris and elderflower.
Earthy sweetness and some citrus zing with a touch of sea air and warming pepper.

This is the first Gin that I have found to be one that converted me to eight a Gin Drinker. Clean fresh taste and smell perfect with any tonic. 5 stars from me.
Disappointed, not enough character, misses power and the sapphire doesn't do his job. Beautiful bottle but the gin doesn't overwhelmed me. Not buying it again.
Hands down one of the best gins I have bought!
Wow so this one really divides the crowd - maybe its the corriander? So I guess we should start with the packaging as we do judge with our eyes as well as our taste buds and yes it really is very pretty. A heavy weight embossed glass bottle with cork closure and security wrap all of which is certified plastic free to protect our planet. Taste wise, personally I think this is a great gin. Juniper lead and premium strength at 42% this gin has weight and body which makes it as good for mixing as it is over ice. Comparisons to Gordon's are frankly ridiculous (if I had to compare it to a mainstream gin it has more flavour profiles in common with Bombay Sapphire). Its USP is that it contains 10 sustainably and ethically sourced botanicals including samphire. Its really subtle but this gives a fresh vegetal edge to the gin along with just a touch of salinity and citrus (if you don't know samphire think very fresh green beans or super young asparagus with a sprinkle of sea salt and a squeeze of lemon). Grains of paradise give spice and hops add to that lovely body. It does have corriander and elderflower too so maybe this is where the crowd devides, personally I'm not a huge corriander fan but in this i think it works to add warmth. I think the price is reasonable for a small batch product (not sure where the reviewers claiming this is mass produced are getting their info from) and its always nice to support smaller uk businesses. I received it as a gift but would buy for myself. 5 stars from me.
Bought this for myself and thoroughly enjoyed it - an absolute delight! Have given as gifts to friends and family. Love the new bottle too.
