A gin with a sense of place, being made with Isle of Wight rock samphire and Boadicea hops alongside juniper, coriander seeds, fresh lemon zest, grains of paradise, angelica, liquorice, orris and elderflower.
Earthy sweetness and some citrus zing with a touch of sea air and warming pepper.

Amazing! Such a great taste and extremely smooth!
Served on P&O Aurora. This is a really smooth gin with excellent taste. I always taste (not drink) a new one neat and Mermaid is definitely one of exceptional quality.
Honestly a great gin. Quite bold flavours and not overly sweet - which is nice, as a lot of other craft gins seem to overdo it on that front. The recently redesigned bottle is beautiful, but it's been delicious since well before the redesign.
The flavour of the gin itself isn't too bad, passable, but the spirit itself is very rough and unpleasant. A triumph of style over substance, avoid
terrible quality gin, very annoying that the nice bottle makes everyone think this is good. Not even a small batch gin, mass produced tat
