The Misty Isle Gin from Isle of Skye Distillers (on the eponymous Inner Hebridean island) is made using 11 botanicals - juniper, orris root, liquorice root, black cubebs, coriander, grains of paradise, lemon peel, cassia bark and a secret botanical. This secretive botanical only comes from Skye. Mysterious!
Liquorice, cracked black pepper and subtly floral juniper.
Cassia gives it a spicy start, while lemon and orris develop in the background, balancing the palate.
Waxy orange peel and fresh juniper warmth.
Great nose, soft on the palate and a long lasting flavour. The new bottle is the best out there. Firm favourite.

Delicious gin, all I add to my gin is ice and sparkling water then let the flavours of the gin hit your taste buds.
Lovely gin with a bit of spice, would definitely buy it again!
