Description

The Misty Isle Gin from Isle of Skye Distillers (on the eponymous Inner Hebridean island) is made using 11 botanicals - juniper, orris root, liquorice root, black cubebs, coriander, grains of paradise, lemon peel, cassia bark and a secret botanical. This secretive botanical only comes from Skye. Mysterious!

Nose

Liquorice, cracked black pepper and subtly floral juniper.

Palate

Cassia gives it a spicy start, while lemon and orris develop in the background, balancing the palate.

Finish

Waxy orange peel and fresh juniper warmth.

Outstanding, surpasses all others!

Great nose, soft on the palate and a long lasting flavour. The new bottle is the best out there. Firm favourite.

Outstanding, far surpasses Harris!

Beautiful nose, soft on the palate and long lasting flavour. The new bottle is the best out these, superior to all other Scottish Gins.

'Pour Misty for me'

Delicious gin, all I add to my gin is ice and sparkling water then let the flavours of the gin hit your taste buds.

Maggie E Sep 20, 2023

yum!

Lovely gin with a bit of spice, would definitely buy it again!
