The second release from indie gin bottler Dram Drawer (following Rock Rose's Sweet Pine expression), this time it's Isle of Skye Distillers, makers of Misty Isle! It's titled Eilean a Cheo, and features the likes of dandelion and red apple among its botanicals, leading to a fruity, herbal, slightly floral flavour profile. Just 300 bottles were released.
Fragrant juniper and orris, followed by orchard fruits and fresh peels. Hints of green tea, mint leaf and hibiscus.
Bought this after getting the first instalment in Dram Drawer's Experimental Gin Series and really love the fruity flavour. Very different to the first instalment so excited to see what comes out next!
