Inshriach Navy Strength Gin
What have you got in your shed? A lawnmower? Many shovels? Maybe some paint? Well, take a trip up near Aviemore and you'll find Shed of the Year 2015 - and lofty, coveted and well-deserved title as that shed contained the Inshriach distillery! This is their Navy Strength Gin, combining juniper and rosehips.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Richly herbaceous - pine, coriander, dill. A hint of fresh barley, and perhaps even some balsamic, too!
Palate
Lots more pine notes, paired with sharp citrus sweetness. Spicy juniper is bolstered by the bumped-up ABV.
Finish
Lasting heat, plus dried apple and raspberry.
