Hoxton Tropical Gin Bottling Note

Hoxton Tropical Gin has some unusual star botanicals. Coconut and grapefruit are accompanied by ginger, tarragon and orris. Inspired by the great east end of London. This one will certainly be hard to miss on the back of any bar.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Tropical, coconut rum-like, perfumed with sweet citrus and soft juniper developing on the late palate and finish.

Not really a gin
This wasn’t gin to me. Over flavoured and rather medicinal. With standard tonic I found it rather unpleasant.

Hoxton less coconut
This was my favourite gin but since the coconut has been dialled down it isn’t as nice. Such a shame not sure why they have done this. Brockmans now my favourite sorry Hoxton

Best flavour coconut
I love the coconut base. Its the only gin i know that has the coconut taste. Can only get it in Dukes 92 in Manchester. I will order..but you say the coconut had been reduced?

Big Thumbs up
I love this gin, and with my small knowledge of gin I think it was the first flavoured gin in the market, as I remember buying it in the supermarket not knowing what to expect! I like it with ginger ale and lime (but I’m not partial to tonic so other obvious choice!) not too sweet, perfect for my pallet

Unusual coconut taste
I personally don't like sweet gin. This is unusual gin with the coconut and citrus taste, not too sweet, excellent with ginger ale but didn't like it with tonic.

Popular in my pub.
From the first time I had this 2 years ago, i have had this on my Gin Menu in my pub. Really excellent gin and very popular.

Not a gin
This just shouldn't be able to be called a gin, it's a sweet flavoured spirit with a gin price tag.
