This is one of a quartet of gins inspired by the county of Yorkshire produced at the Hooting Owl Distillery. Taking inspiration from the west of Yorkshire, Bradford in particular, this expression features a selection of curry spices among its botanicals, including the likes of cumin, turmeric and cardamom, as well as liquorice (referencing Pontefract cakes, which come from Pontefract in west Yorkshire).
Warming and subtly spicy, with cumin and peppercorn standing out. Balancing wafts of orange peel and subtle vanilla develop later on.

I bought this on my grandads funeral day it is flavoursome done to the perfect different from most gins I had tried before a good gin to toast the memories of my grandad. Also I wanted this to keep the bottle as well I think I got it on a different site a few years ago it was more expensive than 38 I can tell you that. I didn’t know about this website then
Wow, just had a gin and tonic, with the west Yorkshire gin, it's absolutely gorgeous, the taste is amazing, I added a star anise as instructed, I was blown away, and believe me, I've tried a lot of gins.
