For this expression from Hernö's Sipping Gin series, the classic Hernö Gin has been matured in a cask which previously held Ardbeg whisky, which is pretty awesome. It's a limited run of 1,904 bottles at a hearty 49.1% ABV, full of all those juniper notes as well as some smoky elements from the cask. As the name suggests, this one's a sipper.
Juniper at the core, with waves of peat smoke, toffee apple and peppery oak, leading into a creamy, dry and slightly maritime finish.
