From the Swedish Hernö distillers comes a sweet, lip-smacking Old Tom Gin. They use the same botanical selection as their Hernö Dry Gin for this, although they've dialled up the amount of meadowsweet used. After distillation, they add a touch of honey and sugar, giving it the classic sweetness you look for in a traditional Old Tom Gin.
It's got a cat's face on the bottle, harking back to how Old Tom Gin got its name - the tom cat-shaped plaques outside London gin houses from the olden days, where you'd put a coin in the cat's mouth and the bartender would dispense a shot of gin from the cat's paw.
Sweet and subtly grassy at first. Herbaceous notes of cassia and coriander start to develop after a minute or two.
A strong backbone of pine resin and chewy juniper, with honey'd sweetness and a touch of lemon zest following it up.
Fresh vanilla and juicy berries.

Love this straight with ice (straight out the freezer). Doesn’t need tonic or anything added just drink it extra cold
I was so looking forward to trying Herno OT with their fantastic array of awards. I was a bit let down as not at all to my taste, very medicinal and tastes more of health tonic than something you'd want to drink.
This is my favourite gin of all time. I love to drink it neat but it also makes great cocktails. Would recommend this to all gin-drinkers. Good for entry level as well as seasoned :)
Loads of hype and awards - this had to be tried. Good but there's better UK gins in my opinion.
