“This is an incredibly well crafted gin that has no boundaries. I tried it neat - dangerous! I then had it with pineapple which surprisingly really brought out the lemon and botanicals. My Kiwi wife reckons this is one of the best ever. 100% recommended. ”

Description

This is Hensol Castle Welsh Dry Gin, made with 11 locally-sourced botanicals, including lavender, marigold, and jasmine picked from the 400-year-old walled gardens where the castle distillery is based. Get this in a G&T stat with lots of ice and a slice of citrus to garnish (we're fans of pink grapefruit, personally).

Overall

A balance of sweetness and spice, with juniper at its core, wafts of meadow florals, and bright citrus.

Definitely a quality small batch gin

Extremely smooth and fruity gig, we are now on our 4th bottle, a firm favourite

Solid gin, enjoy in a Martini!

Solid entry to the gin world with a great lunch of juniper and lovely balance of botanicals. Makes a banging martini and shines in a G&T

Stay away it tastes so bad no matter what we tried it with. How can they do this so badly
