Inspired by a moonlit evening tending botanicals in the hothouse, Hendrick's master distiller Lesley Gracie has made Lunar Gin, a warming, spicy expression well suited to sipping while in the evening. Subtle peppery sparks, fragrant citrus oils and floral wafts abound here.
Softly peppery, with lavender, hibiscus and rose giving it a solid floral core.
Spicy but mellow juniper, lemongrass and rosewater. A touch of orange flesh develops in the background.
Cardamom, vanilla, orange once again, lemongrass.

My favourite of the Hendricks specials, so I'm worried about it disappearing! The tasting notes of the orange flesh developing in the background are spot on, and it's wonderful. Warm, juicy, orange flesh filling your mouth just before you swallow. Glorious gin!
