Hendrick's Lunar Gin

The moon doesn't simply just keep our tides working and act as a place to harvest cheese once we've run out. It's helped to influence all manner of people to create excellent things, from music and paintings, myths and legends, and even gin it seems! Inspired by a moonlit evening tending botanicals in the hothouse, Hendrick's master distiller Lesley Gracie has made Lunar Gin, a warming, spicy expression well suited to sipping while in the evening. Subtle peppery sparks, fragrant citrus oils and floral wafts abound here.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Softly peppery, with lavender, hibiscus and rose giving it a solid floral core.

Palate Spicy but mellow juniper, lemongrass and rosewater. A touch of orange flesh develops in the background.

Finish Cardamom, vanilla, orange once again, lemongrass.

Delightfully smooth with lots going on. Wonderful gin
Utterly delightful and quite a surprise. The floral overture glides beautifully into a citrus with a hint of pepper moment ending with a gentle and warm full stop.
One is never enough.. this is definitely one of my all time favourites.

I love this Lunar Gin. I enjoy all the limited editions. This is so subtle and gentle to the taste. Its so sad when you love something and it is a one off!

THE BEST!
My favourite it’s AMAZING! This is the best gin I have tasted. It’s refreshing and tasty. Lovely with soda water or lemonade.
Nice warm feelings, mellow and all round GOOD! 10000% recommend.

My favourite of the Hendricks specials, so I'm worried about it disappearing!
The tasting notes of the orange flesh developing in the background are spot on, and it's wonderful. Warm, juicy, orange flesh filling your mouth just before you swallow.
