Belgium
The HAVN Gin range from Belgium is based around flavours from the four corners of the globe (despite the world not having corners since it's round, but let's not open that can of worms here), with four particular cities specified. This particular expression shows off the exotic flavours you might find in Bangkok, including ginger, lime leaf and lemongrass.
Spicy juniper as it opens, complemented by fresh ginger and a whiff of black pepper. Lingering citrus acidity gives it a subtle sweetness.

This is the best one out of the 4 in my opinion and I've tried them all. When I tasted it neat I wasn't sure but it was fantastic with its recommended serve of a slice of chilli, lemongrass and fever tree mediterranean tonic (on the leaflet I was given) - the drink was quite savoury with a hint of spice which I like. There are so many samey gins on the market currently that this one really stands out. Love the gold bottle too!
