While the Harahorn Norwegian Gin is named after a mountain in Norway, it's also inspired by the story of a hare with horns. A more terrifying prospect has never crossed our minds. Despite striking fear into our hearts, this gin is rather pleasing indeed, making use of Røros juniper berries, Nordmarka blueberries, Grimstad rhubarb and bladderwrack, Oppdal angelica and Sunndal wild marjoram.
Juniper and blueberry always go together handsomely. The subtle tartness of rhubarb plays well the pairing, too.

Yes, my baseline gin is Harahorn, I dig Barrhil for what it offers, especially honey!! Ishould say lot but I *suspect* it won’t. Trust me, if other gins, were your go-to for cocktails, I suspect ( & 100% confirmed with me), Harahorn will be your go-to for gin mixers !!
One of the best Norwegian gin??
I’ve had a few gins in my time, quite a lot really! This was given to me by my Norwegian friend who’s family are in the foothills from where this is made. Oh my, it’s delightful. Neat with ice or just a dash of tonic. It’s smooth, sweet without being sweet, fragrantly fruity. Just delicious, I wish we could get it more than once in a while.
This is a gin filled with flavors. A great sipper ( yes you heard me right sipper). Also good in gin-drinks. If you should have one bottle of gin the rest of your life this is it. However at the premium price, there is a lot of choices. In short you never go wrong with this one but quite expensive
This is a simply fantastic gin, clean tasting, perfect with fresh berries & ice.
