Gordon's Pink Gin Bottling Note

Launched in 2017, Gordon's Gin Pink is perfect for summer quaffs. Juniper takes a slight step back to make way for refreshing notes of strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant. The recipe was inspired by a Gordon's recipe from all the way back in the 1880s!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Light sweetness of fresh red fruits, with a bite of juniper and coriander underneath. Lingering zesty notes of fresh raspberry go on and on.

Gordon's Pink Gin Reviews

Gin from Hades itself. Think Mordor.

Utterly disgusting. Was given a bottle as a leaving gift. They must have hated me!
Tastes so artificial and medicinal. Think cranberry juice and hermesetas.
No mixer worked to make a decent drink from it.
Could not stomach it and it went down the sink.
Cleared the drains toute suite.

Best Pink Gin

my fav pink gin, love it, fruity and refreshing pop a strawberry or raspberry in, just what you need on a hot day or even any day...enjoy!

13th May 2020

Got pretty drunk inni but kinda mingin

Did it’s job

12th April 2020

You'll enjoy drinking crude oil more

If you're hoping that this "pink gin" will satisfy your thirst by providing a refreshing alternative to traditional gin, you will be sorely disappointed. This tastes worse than kerosene. By far and wide the worst gin I have ever had the displeasure of tasting. Do not buy this disgusting drink under any circumstances, stick to normal gin, I beg you.

21st January 2020

Don’t like it personally

I would say real gin drinkers will hate this as it’s to sweet but if you are not a seasoned gin drinker you will like it mix with lemonade and make a long drink out of it alright for hot summer evenings but not gin as we know it but I would think that it’s popular with the younger drinkers

11th January 2020

Might be the first few gins for some but this bottle of monstrosity shouldn't even be called gin. It taste absolutely horrible, no amount of mixer can cover the horrible taste. Avoid at all cost

Cough syrup

20th December 2019

Love the taste

Love this Gin!!!

10th December 2019

Should not be labeled as a gin

It's awful, it should not even be labeled as a gin. I did not do my research and bought this in the duty free as I was in a hurry. Fully regret it and I am stuck with a bottle which I don't want to touch even.

24th November 2019

I hate it but it sells well in my bar! eeek!

I personally hate this gin BUT I run a bar and the punters seem to love it! I try my best to sway them to the Puerto de Indias but no, they veer towards this bottle of sin! So as a gin drinker, this gets a massive, irredeemable thumbs down, but as a bar owner who wants to make a profit, it gets a thumbs up. The non gin drinkers seem to like it as a 'starter' gin too, but that's because they don't know any different, until I introduce them to the finer gins! lol

6th November 2019

It tastes like children's antibiotic syrup.
Won't buy it again

29th September 2019

This is not traditional pink gin it is fruit gin

I bought this product because it was labelled Pink Gin which is known to be gin and angostura bitters. Bur this product is NOT the well known Pink Gin it is gin and sweet fruit absolutely not to my taste

22nd August 2019

This stuff is criminally bad.

14th July 2019

Buy anything else

Pretty colour but that’s about it. I can’t find any mixers to cover up the taste. Truly horrific.

11th July 2019

keep producing it!

I love it! Even the scent is delicious. I want to try it with some of the suggestions in the reviews. I guess you either love it or hate it.

27th June 2019

Do. Not. Buy.

I bought a bottle for the bank holiday weekend after previously having a premix can of it and a miniature in an advent calendar. What sweet hell is this full size bottle?! Its grim. I'll give it 2 stars as the premix and miniature were ok. If you want a beautiful easy to drink pink, forget this and buy Larios Rose or Puerta de Indias. The Spanish do fruity pink gin justice, not this chemical abomination. I've added a couple of sprigs of mint and some rasberries but its irredeemable. I wanted a cheap bottle of gin, my bad, should have stuck to a budget supermarket own brand over this.

25th May 2019

It's got a very chemical taste, not a fan of this one. Will not be buying again and I cannot recommend it to others.

10th April 2019

Ruined gin

Never buying this drink again

5th April 2019

Best drink ever

Whoever says this drink doesn't bang needs to get checked out, like legit. Definitely something wrong with you

5th April 2019

What can I say ? Foul

30th March 2019

Ultimate "Girly" drink?

But that's probably misogynistic and insulting. My extremely feminine and feminist better half finds it as disgustingly undrinkable as do I. She's experimenting with using a bottle we were given in baking. I ask why risk ruining good cake? Gordons, what are you thinking of? I've never tasted traditional pink gin - gin and Angostura Bitters - but I suspect the secret lies in the name - Bitters. Why appropriate the name for this sickly concoction? I'm experimenting with a good few shakes of Lea and Perrins, but suspect I'll be forced to use it as another reviewer suggests - to clean the toilet!

19th March 2019

Down the toilet

Absolutely disgusting, vile. Flavour combines strong chemical with sickly sweet children's medicine & penny chews!
Best place for it? Down the pan & miss out the middle man/woman!

15th February 2019

I think it cleared my plug hole of the shower ok ... The water seemed to go down quick after I used it

9th February 2019

My uncle bought me one in a bar, I sipped is politely but couldn't help thinking they must have mixed it with paint stripper. I was convinced I was going to be ill the next day. Thought it just must be me but then a colleague at work got a bottle for her birthday last week. She mentioned it tasted soo awful she tipped it down the sink. Best place for it I think.

8th February 2019

Waste of lemon and tonic

3rd February 2019

I tried it for the first time yesterday. Vile. To my horror I was presented with a 2nd bottle the same evening. How can Gordon’s do this.

13th January 2019

Saccharine sweet. I would like to know what's in it but can't find ingredients anywhere online. Probably because they don't want us to know how artificial it is.

7th January 2019

straight down the sink

horrible... chemical taste ... not even good to clean the oven

3rd January 2019

Avoid at all costs

Got a small 5cl bottle of this in a gin advent calendar and boy, am I glad it was small - this has got to be the most awful drink I have ever tasted, like some kind of liquid cough sweet, or Calpol, or what I imagine drinking perfume would be like. I love Gordon's regular gin, but this stuff is an abomination that should never have seen the light of day ...

2nd January 2019

Really horrible. Strong synthetic cheap perfume smell and taste. A large stack of it on sale in the supermarket - no wonder. I thought it was a pre-mixed real pink gin - gin with a dash of Angostura bitters .

12th December 2018

Calpol cocktail

Absolutely disgusting. Tastes like mum added some crushed berries to Calpol to make it taste better for kids. Why?

10th December 2018

Like Drinking PERFUME, horrible.

Just had Gordon's Pink G&T on an Aer Lingus Flight, I had my doubts but gave it a try, DISGUSTING, like drinking perfume. Someone at Gordon's should be fired for this hideous product.

7th December 2018

Tastes so chemical-ey and no amount of tonic could dilute it’s nasty taste

3rd December 2018

I’m sooo disappointedly

Im a lady who enjoys a drink, and for 50 years Gin has been my preferred tipple but I really don’t like this it’s awful. I feel like I’ve been mugged by Gordon’s

10th October 2018

Absolutely disgusting. The horribly sweet taste is just awful. It’s artificial and has a nasty aftertaste. Totally undrinkable. No amount of tonic or lemon could rescue it. I love gin and have tried many different flavours - this is the only one I have poured down the sink.

22nd September 2018

Disgusting. If I wanted to drink cough syrup I would buy that, not gin! Tastes horrible.

21st September 2018

I was so disgusted with the taste of this, I fed it to my roses! Utterly awful !
It reminisced of a jar of sweets blended up ... nothing I added to it could make it taste any better.
Never ever will I buy this again !

15th September 2018

Freeze it and drink it straight, or with some tonic water... smooth as a baby’s bottom

9th September 2018

Reminded me of nasty cough medicine. Looks lovely tastes awful

22nd August 2018

Will def keep drinking Pink Gin

Well... after reading the reviews I thought... I love it. With ice it's the most refreshing drink I've had in a long time. With Procesco or straight over ice I'm hooked.

3rd August 2018

Not your typical gin

Love it!!

20th July 2018

Why would you even buy this?

To me a G&T is meant to be subtle in flavour, light, and have this slight bitterness.

Yes Gin is made from Juniper berries, but should not be flavoured with more berries - it should be flavoured with botanicals or herbs etc...

This really is terrible

17th July 2018

Delicious on its own or with a dash of lemonade

Lovely served on its own with no mixer over lots of ice with fresh strawberries 🍓
Or add a dash of white lemonade not tonic — lovely either way.

14th July 2018

A refreshing change of taste for gin. Mix with some white cranberry juice and a little soda... Delish!!!

14th July 2018

Pretty horrid

This is just awful. It can't make up its mind whether it is supposed to be sweet or bitter. I thought I was buying gin with a touch of angostura bitters, not a sweet shop version of gin. Yuk. It will go down the sink tomorrow - all £15 of it!

13th July 2018

What a delight.

This is such a lovely drink.
As soon as I opened the bottle I could smell strawberries, and the taste is amazing. It's kinda sweet but dry at the same time.
I love it.

11th July 2018

7th July 2018

It’s the best alcoholic drink ever! I don’t like gin but that one is amazing!

9th June 2018

Reminds me of horrible penicillin I had as a child. Absolutely vile.

26th May 2018

Not my favourite tipple.

I love a G&T and so bought a bottle of this for a change...wish I hadn't! It has an artificial sweet berry smell and a lingering aftertaste. Far too sweet for me. It ruins the sharp taste of the tonic water!

22nd May 2018

Amazing I dislike gin usually but this is gorgeous mixed with appletiser. Will definitely be trying it with some prosecco as well such a wonderful summery drink

6th May 2018

Absolutely horrible - thought I’d been bought it as a joke and took my drink back to the bar! The taste reminded me of a nasty berry flavoured throat lozenge with a strange chemical aftertaste. Really quite revolting.

14th April 2018

Absolutely foul, Gordons should be ashamed.

The most foul and disgusting taste I have ever encountered in a Gin.
Like some cheap nasty sugar free squash had been mixed with it.
Gordons should be ashamed to have it stocked on shop shelves.
I did however make it just about drinkable by adding lots of pure lemon juice and tonic.
However I will never ever buy a limited edition from Gordons again as long as I breath air.

11th April 2018

Nice and different

Absolutely delicious. I first tasted it at our hotel in Ireland.

27th March 2018

The worst, cheapest artificial flavour, how did Gordon’s allow this through?

I am amazed that a gin from Gordon’s could taste so bad. Remanisent of the cheapest, artificial flavoured candy. I thought I was buying a gin that would have a hint of angostura bitters, what an expensive mistake.

19th March 2018

This is not worthy of the Gordon’s name. Need I say more. Your name is everything. I suggest you protect it with a new team of distillers!

19th March 2018

This is an abomination. It's like drinking fruit squash, and has a horrible synthetic taste of artificial sweeteners. Why anyone would think this is a good quality gin is beyond me!

17th March 2018

Absolutely amazing. The fresh berry and floral taste are a welcomed addition to the gin family. I love it and I’m a serious gin drinker. I live in Texas but British and first tasted it it in the UK. I had to wait till forever to order it. I asked everywhere. Now I finally can serve it with champagne, procecco, tonic preferably pink. It’s super versatile and delicious. Don’t miss out because of others not enjoying it’s really beautiful.

11th February 2018

Rather tasty

Rather tasty although I wasn't too sure at first. Had with tonic water , needed the slice of lemon for balance, thinking this would be lovely in a tall glass, sitting out in the summer evenings.

1st January 2018

The worst gin I have tried! Too sweet and artificial tasting with a strong aftertaste. Received this as a gift and I am relieved that I haven’t bought it myself.

26th December 2017

Make prosecco cocktails

You must make pink gin prosecco cocktails with this gin. Absolutely amazing. Large measure gin, large measure prosecco, fresh strawberries, ice & top off with Sprite. Yummy!

20th November 2017

Just plain awful

I can so much relate to the review which came before mine. Smells extremely berry/red fruits (think of very cheap perfume). Nothing delicate or subtle about it. Mixed in a drink (I had a Gin Tonic variant) you still taste way too much of the berries (and the taste is very chemical). I can imagine this could work in a spritz but not at all classy. If you never tried it, you haven‘t missed anything. Rather ask your bartender to mix something for you than have this. Cannot imagine to drink this without mixers at all!

19th November 2017

Very disappointed

This has a nasty pungent synthetic smell/taste and I was very disappointed. It’s more palatable with a measure of the well known black currant cordial in it, just to finish it up but I certainly won’t be buying a second one.
