Gordon Castle Gin

Small-batch, hand-crafted gin from the Gordon Castle along the River Spey, featuring botanicals grown in the estate's Walled Garden. Mint, lavender and gooseberry are among the botanical selection, giving this crisp gin a floral, fresh palate.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Fresh mint leaf and crisp juniper arrive first. Subtly nutty at points, though soon develops refreshing herbaceous elements on the finish.

Nothing special, too many ordinary gins now being produced and this is a good example of an ordinary gin.

Gin Tastic
not being a gin drinker I was very hesitant about tasting this one, but WOW was I in for a surprise really stunning floral smell and the taste well what can I say, no sooner had I sampled did I buy a bottle it's very unique taste and smell had me hooked, looks like my whisky collection is on the back burner, this geat sampling was closely followed by a beautiful lunch in the restaurant next to the shop, another delight our first time here and definitely won't be the last so close to us and have never been, we will be making up or lost time here, I am in a wheelchair being a double amputee and was treated with the greatest respect by staff who were very busy by an influx of customers but the service remained first class, freshly cooked food, our son had a children's cheesy pasts wow home made taste wasn't that next time so much cheese yum I had beef and venison burger double yummy and my wife trad fish and chips again yum yum the chocolate sweet was fantastic we sat ate drank coffee and chatted for about 2 hours and never felt pressured to get a move on. What a lovely place. Thankyou Keith Douglas
