Expeditionary Gin Bottling Note

The wide open roads of Colorado are calling - and paved with gold if we are to believe the label of That Boutique-y Gin Company's Expeditionary Gin from the Golden Moon distillery. Golden Moon owner Stephen Gould looks ready to explore those road on his very own tricked-out Wonka-Mobile, complete with a pair of stills! The gin itself was created by Gould trying to put himself in the shoes of a British gin drinker, and has been tweaked to appeal to their tastes.

Batch 1 is a release of 808 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Mouthwateringly sweet at first (quite similar to freshly-made doughnuts at a fair!). Soon you get notes of waxy lemon, fresh linen and violet petals.

Palate: Fennel is up front, leading into black liquorice and lemongrass. Touches of hot cinnamon and fragrant, floral juniper.

Finish: Liquorice Allsorts, menthol and drying allspice.
