Following Glendalough's seasonal gins, the Ireland-based distillers have released a gin for all seasons! Their Wild Botanical Gin is made with a selection of fresh foraged botanicals from the Wicklow Mountains, and goes very well in a G&T...
Top-notes of grapefruit and pine-y juniper. A helping of heather and rose petal.
I'm not a regular Gin drinker but did try all the popular ones (Tanqueray Ten is the favourite). This one is... Pretty wild - true to the name I guess. The nose is very inviting, but drink it clean or with ice and it tastes like young tequila. Mix it with Tonic, and it tastes like radish. If you like Gin then this bottle might be something unique, otherwise I'd recommend pretty much anything else.
It’s the best gin I’ve ever tasted...... just stunning
Very similar to Napue gin in how herbaceous and smooth it is. A really excellent gin. If you’re looking for something a little different to the typical citrusy gins then this is it.
So easy to drink! Needs no garnish, just some fever tree tonic a few cubes of ice. Perfect
A smooth, very drinkable Gin. Perfect with Fever Tree ginger ale or Mediterranean tonic and a wedge of orange.
