
Another installment from Glaswegin's range of cask-aged gins. This time, the award-winning gin was put into toasted virgin oak casks to age until all of the smooth, vanilla goodness from the oak had perfectly mingled with the botanicals, which include milk thistle, bay leaves, and pink peppercorns. The folks at Glaswegin suggest this limited edition gin goes quite well with some spicy ginger ale and an extra touch of cinnamon. Delicious!
The juniper hasn't been lost here, even after spending some time in the cask. The base gin has become wonderfully mellowed, with vanilla and spice working alongside the bright, citrus notes of the gin.
